Day 3 - A Chinese Christmas

It was mid afternoon - my parents had just come home from a morning out.

"Oh Yay!" I exclaimed as I b-lined down a flight of stairs toward the Christmas tree.  I meticulously pried open my gift avoiding the tearing of any wrapping paper (as is my style).  It was my favourite G.I. Joe action set - the best present I had ever received as a child!

I couldn't wait to tell my new friend from school so I called him right away.

"I just opened my Christmas present!  You'll never guess what I got!"

"You JUST opened it? That's weird, Christmas is on the 25th."

"Oh…"

So from that point onwards, I'll always refer to Boxing Day as Chinese Christmas.
